May 5, 2023 -Around 2:13 p.m., Local members were dispatched to a multi-family structure fire near S. Quebec St and S. Parker Road in Arapahoe County. The fire was located in the crawl space of the building, which made access difficult. However, members were able to extinguish the fire before it could extend into units. The crews ventilated the building and ensured that it was safe before allowing residents to return to their homes. Thankfully no injuries were reported during the incident. We are also grateful to Local 858, 1290 and our law enforcement partners, who worked together to evacuate the building and keep our community safe.The Fire Marshal's Office is now investigating the cause of the fire.
