Burgundy Garage Fire
On June 19, 2023, just after 8:40 p.m., South Metro dispatchers received multiple calls reporting a residential garage was on fire with active flames and black smoke. Safety 18 was first on scene and confirmed that all of the occupants had evacuated. Members from Tower 18 quickly performed a 360 and made access into the garage. The fire was contained to the garage with no extension into the home. One person was evaluated on scene and the cause is being investigated by the SMFR Fire Marshal’s Office.
